So you've arrived to Bangkok city for a couple of days and wondering where to go? this post is for you!

With countless markets, great nightlife and temples that adorn the streets like diamonds, Bangkok is a non-stop city.

1. The Grand Palace (The King's Palace) - first stop, the complex is impressive in its traditional architecture, in the splendor of the gold that adorns the temples and in the meticulous landscaping. It consists of four courtyards and houses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Tickets can be purchased online.

Hours of operation - every day of the week between 8:30 and 15:30.
2. Wat Pho (the lying Buddha) - the largest and
oldest temple in Bangkok where a huge Buddha statue lies,
46 meters long and 15 meters high. A series of world
leaders visited it and their photos are on display in the
complex.

Hours of operation - every day of the week between 8:00 and 18:30. (Note that modest clothing is required in temples)

3. Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn) - on the banks of the Chao Phraya River lies the Wat Arun temple, in the center of which is a pagoda-like structure. Because of its beauty, those who are suitable come in droves to be photographed in it, and you can also hire a local outfit and a photographer who, for a nominal fee, will provide you with photos as a souvenir of the experience.

Hours of operation - every day of the week between 8:00 and 18:00.

4. King Power Mahanakon (Bangkok's tallest building) - the building located in the center of Bangkok and offers a

314 meters height observation of the city.

You can arrive in the morning or evening (a slightly higher rate in the evening), or schedule the visit for dusk and watch the sunset.

There is a transparent floor on the upper observation roof where you can take pictures. Tickets can be purchased on the building's official website or at the travel agents offices.

Hours of operation - 10:00 - 00:00.
5. Chao Phraya River - during the day government boats are
operating on the river and stop at various stations along it.
In doing so, they offer an additional way of getting around
the busy city as well as a tourist experience.
In the evening you can purchase a ticket for a cruise
that includes dinner at one of the travel agents in the city.

6. Siam Paragon and Sea life Bangkok- a shoping center with the top brands (Chanel, Prada, Dior). 

On the bottom floor you will find the Sea lifw Aquarium and the wax museum of Bangkok.

Nearby is the MBK mall that offers imitations of the well-known brands. Tickets for the aquarium and Wax Museom can be purchased online here.
